A base is not strong because it looks dense. It must control approach, reveal movement, protect high-value pets and provide a route for the owner to react.

How to test your own layout
Walk the raid route as if you do not own the base. Note the first point where an attacker can see the target, the fastest exit and any obstacle that slows you more than the raider.
